Meet Dr. Patalowski
Sports Dentistry Consultant
Since retiring from active dental practice several years ago due to medical issues, I have been devoting my time to my passion of sports dentistry. I actively lecture locally and nationally on the topic of sports-related dental injuries and their prevention. I am a lifelong learner and eager to stay in the forefront of all the advances in the field of concussion prevention. I am honored to work with several local athletes and sports teams.
I continue to manage the Center for Sports Dentistry for the design and fabrication of custom-fitted sports mouthguards we offer at a fraction of the average national price. I am also available to the patients of M2, local sports teams, and people in the community to advise them on the proper type and fit of mouthguards for their respective sports.
Education
- Pre-dental studies – Temple University & University of Scranton
- Doctorate of Dental Medicine – Temple University School of Dentistry
Continuing Education
I love continuing education! I was one of the youngest to achieve the status of Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). Awardees must meet the highest criteria for professional excellence by taking 1,100 hours of continuing dental education in the sixteen disciplines of dentistry, including 400 hours dedicated to practicing “hands-on” skills and techniques. To date, there are only 152 dentists in Pennsylvania to have earned this Mastership.
Professional Memberships
- Master, Academy of General Dentistry
- Diplomate, National Dental Board of Anesthesiology
- Master, College of Conscious Sedation
- Diplomate, Special Care Dentistry
A Bit About Me
I was born and raised in Scranton and now reside in Lititz with my life partner, Dr. Maria Meliton and our dog child, Dolce. Between you and me, the dog really loves me more.
In my spare time, I enjoy stock market trading. I also love technology and I am always looking for the newest gadgets to include in our practice.
